REPAIRS
We can repair split cane, seagrass and rush seating. Every chair is priced as it comes in and there are no hidden extras on collection. Slight structural repairs can also be done at a small extra cost.
We repair 3 types of seating :-
CANE
The cane used is the best Indonesian Rattan.
In the split cane section we can reproduce any pattern or cane design, including rising sun, medallions, all Victorian patterns and many more.
We repair chairs, settees, loungers, saddle-back chairs and even the occasional bed head.
RUSH
The most popular style of rush chair we are asked to repair is the "ladder back", but of course any style of rush seating can be re-rushed.
We use the best quality Dutch freshwater rush and on arrival it is in shades of green and gold, but soon it ages to the familiar fawn hue.
SEAGRASS
The workshop undertakes repairs to any seagrass furniture, but also these stools are made at the workshop, and can be purchased. See the sales page for more details.
The seagrass is the best North African and extremely hard wearing and especially suitable for foot stools.
