Greenaway Workshop is a small charity-run workshop which provides disabled adults with work suited to their individual needs and capabilities. The workshop has been carrying out repairs to chairs to a very high standard since October 1981, serving many small and large local businesses including Chatsworth House.
The Workshop is open Monday to Thursday, 9:00am to 4:30pm and you are welcome to bring in chairs for repair or quotation.

As a registered charity, we are a non-profitmaking organisation and therefore are competitive in our pricing.
We do not collect or deliver chairs, so you will need to be able to arrange to transport your chairs to us and collect them when the work is finished.
Greenaway Workshop is a charity receiving a small grant from Derbyshire County Council, but we are also dependant on the income from our turnover of completed work. We are therefore reliant on the local community to provide us with work.
Your support would be gratefully received and we hope you will continue to come to the workshop for all your printing and chair repair requirements.
SALES
We have a range of chairs for sale which have been donated to the workshop and repaired. Please contact the workshop for details of chairs currently for sale.
REPAIRS
We can repair split cane, seagrass and rush seating. Every chair is priced as it comes in and there are no hidden extras on collection. Slight structural repairs can also be done at a small extra cost.

PRINTING AND OTHER WORK
The workshop has a well-equipped print studio and can fulfil many printing and collation requirements. The workshop also takes on small contract jobs for packing and collation work.
